New Year, New Owner – A 2026 Toolkit for South African SMEs
Turn your business from chaos and constant chasing… into a simple system you and your team can actually run – using tools you already know: Google, WhatsApp, and Canva.
THE PROBLEM

If 2025 felt like this, this toolkit is for you
Be honest for a moment:
-
You were constantly chasing payments and "just waiting for one client to pay".
-
WhatsApp enquiries came in… and some of them disappeared into the noise.
-
Quotes lived in email attachments, Word docs, screenshots – nowhere organised.
-
Work was booked on gut feel, not a clear job list.
-
Social media happened "when you got a gap", not because there was a plan.
-
By October and November, you were tired, reactive, and over it.
Most SME owners don't have a profit problem.
They have a structure problem.
The New Year, New Owner Toolkit is designed to fix that.
INTRODUCING THE TOOLKIT
What is the New Year, New Owner Toolkit?
It's a plug-and-play set of Google Sheets, Google Docs, WhatsApp templates and Canva designs that helps you:
-
See your money clearly
-
Control quotes, jobs and deadlines
-
Standardise WhatsApp replies, bookings and payment chasing
-
Keep your marketing consistent without feeling like a full-time content creator
-
Give your team clear routines and roles
No custom software. No complicated dashboards.
Just simple tools, set up properly, that you can run every week.

WHAT'S INSIDE
Inside the Toolkit: How It Actually Helps You
Inside the toolkit, every piece is designed to solve a specific headache in your business using simple, repeatable structures. You'll finally have a clear way to see your money – what's coming in, what's going out, who owes you, and what to do about it this week. Quotes and jobs move from "random files and promises" into a single, consistent way of describing what you sell, pricing it properly, tracking every job from enquiry to completion, and explaining to clients in plain language how you work and what your rules are. WhatsApp becomes calmer: instead of typing from scratch under pressure, you and your team follow tried-and-tested patterns for replies, bookings, reminders, payment follow-ups, and even asking for reviews and referrals.
On top of that, your marketing shifts from last-minute posts to a simple rhythm you can actually keep: a basic sense of how your brand should look and sound, reusable layouts so you're not designing from zero, and a light plan for what to say over the next few months. Your team gets clarity on who does what and what a "good week" looks like, with time protected for important things like money and follow-ups, not just urgent noise. And behind it all is a practical way of organising your files and access so people know where to find documents, what to open, and who has access to which tools – making the business less fragile and less dependent on you remembering everything.

How it works in 3 simple steps
Step 1 – Get the Toolkit
You purchase online. You receive a Google Drive folder with all the Sheets, Docs and guides, plus instructions on how to copy everything into your own Google account.
Step 2 – Set Up Your System
You follow the setup guide, or we do it together during a training day. Within a few hours, you'll have:
-
A working Money Hour sheet
-
Active quote and job trackers
-
WhatsApp templates loaded into WhatsApp Business
-
Canva templates ready for your posts
Step 3 – Run the Weekly Rhythm
You use the tools every week: Money Hour, quote follow-ups, job updates, simple marketing.
Optional: book a full Training Day where I come in and help you and your team make it a habit.
Is this toolkit right for your business?

You're using Google, WhatsApp and social media already – but without a proper system.

You're ready to change how the business runs in 2026, not just "try harder".

You want a done-for-you agency to run everything for you.
-
You're looking for a fancy software platform with monthly licence fees.

Who's behind this toolkit?
I'm Reinard du Plessis, a Marketing Technology Specialist and SME growth partner based in Johannesburg.
I've spent years working with South African businesses – from resorts and hospitality to small service firms – helping them use simple technology to fix the things that matter: cash flow, leads, follow-ups, and daily operations.
I'm also the founder of hyperLOOP, where we help SMEs stabilise and grow through automation, strategy, marketing and technology, and the co-founder of hyperSHIFT, focused on building and scaling mission-driven ventures.
The New Year, New Owner Toolkit is my way of taking what I usually do in consulting engagements and turning it into something any serious SME owner can access: practical, affordable, and built on tools you already know.
FAQ
1. Do I need paid software to use this?
No. The toolkit is built on Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, WhatsApp Business and Canva – all of which have free options. If you already have a Gmail account and a smartphone, you're most of the way there.
2. I'm not "techie". Will I cope?
Yes. The whole point of this toolkit is to make things simpler, not more complicated. The tools are basic and visual, and if you choose the Training Day option, I personally walk you and your team through everything.
3. Can my staff use these tools as well?
Absolutely. In fact, it works best when your admin, sales and operations staff are all trained to use the same templates and trackers. You can share access via Google Drive and WhatsApp Business.
4. How is the toolkit delivered?
Once you purchase, you get a Google Drive link with all the templates and guides. You'll copy them into your own Google account so they're 100% yours.
5. What if I already have an accountant / bookkeeper?
That's great. This toolkit doesn't replace them; it helps you run the business between their reports. Think of it as the daily and weekly control that feeds better information to your accountant.
6. Can I upgrade later from DIY to the Training Day?
Yes. If you start with the DIY toolkit and later decide you want a full Training Day, you simply pay the difference between the two options at the prices valid at that time.
Ready to make 2026 feel different?
You don't need another year of "trying harder" with the same old chaos.
You need a simple, visible system that you and your team can actually run.
The New Year, New Owner Toolkit gives you exactly that – using tools you already have in your hand.
If you're unsure which option is right for you, send me a message and I'll help you decide – no pressure, no hard sell.
